2:00Now PlayingThe Maharashtra government has now issued a warning to the private hospitals in the state in regards to the COVID-19 treatment. Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray has stated that no private hospitals will be charging excess money from the patients. Different rates have been announced for Urban & Rural Maharashtra by the state government along with the bifurcation of the areas for treatment.
This comes at a time when the country is tackling the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic and Maharashtra was one of the worst-affected states with the highest single-day spike being reported every day.
