3:13Now PlayingIn a report released on Thursday, the three-member Congress panel appointed by interim president Sonia Gandhi to resolve infighting in the Punjab unit stated that Amarinder Singh should not be ousted as chief minister. With only a few months until the Assembly elections, the panel believes this is unnecessary. They did, however, urge that former minister Navjot Singh Sidhu, who is at odds with the CM, be accommodated, as well as an organizational overhaul. Mallikarjun Kharge, the Leader of the Opposition in the Rajya Sabha, is in charge of the panel. Harish Rawat, the paty's Punjab in-charge, and former MP JP Aggarwal are also on the list.
