Contractor Ramzan Shaikh will also have appeared in the court regarding the issue. Till now 12 people have died the mishap including eight minors, and seven more were injured after a four-story building collapsed on an adjoining two-storey one in Malad, a western suburb in Mumbai. This incident happened on Wednesday night. People in the neighbourhood described that it happened due to the delayed impact of Cyclone Tauktae that hit Mumbai. The collapsed building was illegal, with only the ground floor sanctioned and the other three were unauthorised.
