1:21Now PlayingUnion Information and Technology Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad took a swipe at Twitter today, saying that if the microblogging platform invoked a US law to temporarily block his account then it should cognizant of Indian laws as well. Speaking at the India Global forum Minister said that Twitter blocked his account last week for an hour on a complaint made four years ago. Calling for accountability minister reiterated that social media platforms are free to do business in the country and make a profit but have to abide by law of the land Remember Twitter and the Centre had been loggerheads over compliant with the new IT rules.
