However, the Centre expects all citizens above 18 to be vaccinated by December. Answering Rahul Gandhi’s question in the Lok Sabha, the Health Minister of state Bharti Pawar has said that between August to December a total of 135 crore doses are expected to be available. The Centre's shift comes in between apprehensions of whether the vaccines are sufficiently available.
