Opposition Leaders have been demanding probe in to the situation in Parliament. 3 PILs have been filed against this issue by senior journalists. including Senior Leader Kapil Sibal. The Chief Justice has agreed to hear this matter next week. The opposition claims that Pegasus spyware was used by the central govt. to spy over senior journalists and activists and have been targeting this issue in the monsoon session of the parliament. Senior Journalists N. Ram and Shashi Kumar have sought inquiry if the Union govt. or any agencies has license to use this spyware.
