The Supreme court has clearly said that without the hearing from all the sides, the court cannot give protection to the former home minister Anil Deshmukh. Earlier, Anil Deshmukh directly approaches the supreme court for protection from the Enforcement Directorate ( ED). The Supreme Court has also refused to stop Enforcement Directorate from taking any punitive action against Deshmukh. Earlier, The Enforcement Directorate had raided the premises of Deshmukh in Nagpur at his ancestral village. Two teams were seen carrying out the raids.
