This comes days after the Centre told Rajya Sabha that no deaths were reported due to the lack of oxygen by states and union territories during the second wave of the coronavirus pandemic. Now, the Goa health minister Vishwajit Rane has also made similar statements saying that deaths in the state had been directly attributed to the lack of oxygen. The state government has said, ''At no point in time, Goa Medical College ran out of oxygen & no death has been reported due to non-supply of oxygen.''
