2:24Now PlayingThe Jharkhand High Court's Chief Justice Ravi Ranjan has taken suo motu notice of the death of a district judge in Dhanbad who was killed in a road accident while out on a morning stroll yesterday. Judge Uttam Anand, who lived in Hirapur's Judge's Colony, was killed by an unidentified four-wheeler around 500 meters distant. While the incident was initially thought to be an accident, CCTV footage shows that the vehicle purposefully drove into the judge as he walked down the road's edge. Now a police officer has been suspended on the same case citing negligence. The high court has recommended the case to be handed over to the CBI. Stay tuned for further updates.
