Experts say that this may be due to the new variants and are calling for increasing genome sequencing to identify the presence of a possible new virus. Genome sequencing of breakthrough samples is being done from different states to confirm virus variants. MIRROR NOW spoke with Dr N K Arora, Chairman of India's COVID-19 Working Group of the National Technical Advisory Group on Immunisation (NTAGI) about this.
