34:05Now PlayingIn today's episode of The Urban Debate, Tanvi Shukla talks about the continuous uprising of political killings in J&K. On Thursday, suspected militants shot Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party zonal president at Devsar in Kulgam district. This is the fourth such political killing in the last 12 days in South Kashmir. Last week, a BJP sarpanch and his wife were killed in Anantnag, and two days back, another BJP leader was killed in the Brasloo area of Kulgam.
After the killings, the BJP leaders have been demanding to step up security. Militant group The Resistance Front (TRF), in a post on social media, claimed responsibility for the attack and the post read, “Under the program ‘Operation Clean Out’ today the Lone wolf Shaheen Squad Cadre carried out the target operation of Apni Party member who was earlier clearly warned not to betray Kashmir Martyr's blood, but he refused so the result is in front of all. We want to clarify that don’t be part of the oppressor regime & don’t betray the Kashmir sacrifices. We are watching & we will strike." Watch the video for more information!
