The meeting was organised with several dignitaries, including chief ministers of Congress-ruled states like TMC's Mamata Banerjee, JMM's Hemant Soren, Shiv Sena's Uddhav Thackeray, NCP's Sharad Pawar, Loktantrik Janata Dal's Sharad Yadav and many more. Sonia Gandhi's introductory remarks highlighted that she agreed with West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, where she suggests that it's high time that now and all the Opposition should come together to fight the Centre for their rights. Mamata Banerjee further adds 'Entire institutional torcher' needs to fight against the Centre. In the virtual meeting, the leaders also discussed the Covid-19 situation in the country and GST compensation to states. Can we suggest that all oppositions coming together, can they take BJP outside the Parliament?
