5:28Now PlayingMonsoon fury in Gujarat has led to the death of three people in the Saurashtra district. Heavy rainfall has wreaked havoc in parts of Gujarat and has now resulted in floods in several areas. Rajkot and Jamnagar have reported maximum damage by the floods. Rescue operations are currently underway and over 2,000 people have been safely evacuated from their houses in the low-lying areas. Houses have been inundated in the heavy rains which are now lashing across Gujarat. Newly appointed Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel has now taken stock of the situation and has ordered a review meeting of the worst-affected districts.
