1:06Now PlayingSome updates coming in from the state of Maharashtra where heavy rains have lashed out many parts of the state. 13 people have reportedly died as a result of heavy rains, floods and lightning while 136 have been injured and over 560 people were rescued by the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF). Cattle and properties were washed away and many houses were damaged as an aftermath of the heavy rains that lashed parts of the Marathwada region and Mumbai. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), ‘extremely heavy rains’ are expected in Marathwada, Mumbai and other parts of the coastal Konkan region of Maharashtra. Watch!
