2:23Now PlayingAccording to the latest updates on the Tri-service probe into the chopper crash, after the Blackbox was recovered, Air Marshal Manvendra Singh inspected the sight of the chopper crash. He is leading the tri-service inquiry to the crash. As per Defense Minister's statement, the helicopter took off from Sulur airbase at 11:48 am and was expected to land at Wellington at 12:15 pm. Air traffic control at Sulur airbase lost control and contact with the helicopter at approximately 12:08 pm. The tri-service probe will examine what happened in those crucial minutes. The Tamil Nadu Police has also begun the investigation and filed an FIR. According to the sources, TN police had spoken with 26 witnesses till now.
