This comes after the BJP cleared the Aadhar Card-Voter Id bill in the parliament in just 26 minutes. The opposition has once again opposed the move by the BJP led Central government and has accused the Centre of bulldozing the democracy. Furore is expected over this three-line whip issued by the Centre to the Rajya Sabha MPs. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will also be presenting a bill today and she too has issued a whip to the MPs. Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge states that the Aadhar card bill has been passed in such a hurry by the Centre and there was no discussion on the same.
