The F.I.R has been quashed against a 62-year-old. The High Court stated that 'if a satirist authored this judgement, then he would have added duty to laugh as a fundamental duty.' The HC has stated that the F.I.R lodged is absurd and cites it as an abuse of legal process. Reportedly, the accused in this case had uploaded vacation pictures captioned 'a trip to Sirumalai for shooting purpose.' However, the police registered an F.I.R against him stating that he was intending to rage a war against the state.
