Mr Shaikh said that 'we want people to understand, that whatever the Government is doing, it is for their benefit.' He also said that as restrictions were imposed, 'not even 10% of events happened in Mumbai.' He also added that 'if someone has violated anything, we will look into it.' Shaikh also spoke on plans for lockdown amid the increasing numbers of Omicron. He added that 'we don't want people to gather unnecessarily, anywhere.'
