2:28Now PlayingAfter engaging the Raj Bhavan in yet another round of combat, the cautious Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) government has postponed the Assembly Speaker's election. Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari had told the government that he wanted to look into the legality of the election rule amendment and had refused to allow the election to take place during the legislature's winter session, which ended on Tuesday. The governor didn’t deem voting by voice as an appropriate method for selecting the speaker instead of a secret ballot box. He also said he was saddened by the threatening tone of the letters sent by the government however he won’t be pressured to do so.
