2:26Now PlayingAccording to the latest updates on the Madurai's Jallikattu events, one person was killed and over 80 people were injured on day 2 of the event. The injured include 38 bull tamers, 24 bull owners, and 18 spectators. At the competition venue, there's massive crowding of people amid the Covid surge. Most of the people in the event were seen without a mask and not taking any precautionary measures against Covid. The Tamil Nadu government in its standard operating procedures had stated that only two including the bull owner are allowed to scout the bulls to the arena. According to the guidelines for the event, only 150 spectators were allowed to witness the event. These people will have to submit their RTPCR negative reports. Watch the entire video to know more.
