The government has predicted a further rise in the cases in early February. The Health Minister in his interview with Mirror Now said that their focus is on keeping the hospitality rates as low as possible, and not letting the hospitals crowd. Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai said a decision on relaxing Covid restrictions in the state would be taken after discussing the issue at a meeting with the experts.
