The Education Minister of Maharashtra has written a letter to the Chief Minister to consider reopening the schools from January 24. An overwhelming majority is in the favour of the decision to reopen schools. As the cases decline, the cabinet is also discussing relief of the Covid curbs that have been in place since the cases were rising. Maharashtra's caseload reached 73,25,825, while the fatality count rose to 1,41,934. Currently, there are 23,93,704 people in-home quarantine and 3,200 others in institutional quarantine. Watch!
