R.P.N Singh is the second big leader to exit from the Congress in Uttar Pradesh, after Jitin Prasada last year. Mr. Prasada joined the BJP and later became a minister in the Yogi Adityanath government. R.P.N Singh exclusively spoke to the mirror now, he pointed out He was also the in-charge for Jharkhand affairs of the Congress, where the party is in a coalition government with the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha. He has represented the Padrauna assembly constituency and had defeated Swami Prasad Maurya from the Kushinagar in the 2009 Lok Sabha polls. Maurya recently parted ways with the BJP and has joined the Samajwadi Party (SP), which is seen as the former’s primary rival in the state’s assembly elections.
