However, the government has introduced a one-time window in which taxpayers can file updated returns within two years. Also, the government will provide tax incentives for start-ups. Addressing the disappointments by the salaried and middle-class Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said the relief is in form of maintaining the status-quo and not increasing taxes.
