Parents claim that the schools are threatening students by restricting them from appearing in exams if they do not get the vaccination. Schools in Delhi reopened on Monday for classes 9 to 12 after the increase in COVID-19 cases had led to their closure in December. Schools in Delhi were briefly reopened before being closed again on December 28 last year given the third wave of COVID-19 driven by the Omicron variant. Delhi government is gearing up to administer the first dose of Covaxin to teens aged 15 to 18 years.
