Maharashtra Minister and NCP leader has been arrested in the Dawood Ibrahim Company-linked alleged money laundering case. Malik was arrested after hours of questioning by ED. According to the sources, he reportedly brought property from the 1993 bomb blast convict Sadar Saudi Khan. He was a close aide of Tiger Memon. The NCP workers were protesting against the ED questioning. His family also alleged that no summons was given to him before the questioning. To this, Shiv Sena MP Priyanka Chaturvedi said that BJP continues to use these investigation agencies to run their political agenda against the opposition.
