The petition sought the cancelation of board exams. The petition has sought an alternative mode of assessment. The Court said, “such petitions give false hopes to students.” The Supreme Court also said that the exams will be held in classrooms and not offline. According to the sources, the plea was filed by a students’ union from Odisha. The petition also seeks an alternative assessment mechanism for the admission of students to undergraduate courses.
