5:49Now PlayingAs per the latest news coming in from the Parliament House in the National Capital, the bill has been tabled in Loksabha for the unification of all three civic bodies in Delhi. It has crossed the first hurdle as of now as the people in Loksabha have voted in the favour of the bill and successfully passed it. However, the opposition is slamming the passing of the bill. The bill has to be tabled in Rajya Sabha as well in order to pass the Delhi MCD unification bill. Union Home Minister, Amit Shah, has defended the bill in the house and claimed that the Delhi government is treating municipal corporations in Delhi with step-motherly treatment.
