2:47Now PlayingFuel prices continue to soar. Petrol and diesel prices were hiked again on Wednesday by at least 80 paise, taking the total increase in rates to ₹ 10 per litre in 16 days. This is the 14th fuel price hike taking place in the last 15 days. In Mumbai, the petrol prices have reached 120 rupees per liter mark and in Delhi, petrol is retailing at 105 rupees per litre. As far as diesel is concerned, in Mumbai, it's being sold at 104 rupees per litre and in Delhi, it's 96 rupees per liter. Meanwhile, Union Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas Hardeep Singh Puri on Tuesday defended fuel price hike, comparing it with that of other countries, saying that India has merely seen a change of "only 5 percent".
