The women are undergoing treatment in a local hospital and the accused driver has been arrested. The driver was under the influence of alcohol while he was driving the vehicle, which resulted in this accident. Registered under the name of Mr. S Kumar, the BMW car rammed over the woman after which the police seized the vehicle. Similar such incident has been reported in the past as well but no norms seem to have changed the scenario of the state.
