The Toronto police have stated that they are talking to witnesses who were in the area during the incident and are monitoring the CCTV footage of the station. Meanwhile, the Consulate General of India in Toronto has spoken to the family of the student and has said to provide all sorts of assistance in the repatriation of the mortal remains of the student. Identified as Kartik Vasudev, the 21-year old had gone to Toronto anticipating a better education.
