A group of 55 activists across the country blamed the Pinarayi Vijayan government for falling into the trap of the Central government encouraging corporate benefits. The group which includes environmentalists, researchers, and academicians, said wrote to the Kerala CM, questioning their hypocrisy over two rail projects. They pointed out that the government has protested against the high-speed rail project on Mumbai-Ahemdabad but is silent on the Silverline project.
