2:43Now PlayingAs a precautionary measure, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport's runways will be shut for maintenance on May 10th in the upcoming week, 11 AM to 5 PM. This shut is applicable for both runways, called 09/27 and 14/32. This 6-hour shut comes as it prepares for the onset of runways to be shut in the state of Maharashtra, as per the Monsoon Contingency Plan.
The advisory has been issued so the passengers check in with their airlines for their flight schedules and bookings beforehand. The passengers should expect cancellations, rescheduling and delays in their bookings and flight timings on the day. According to the CSMIA 2020 report, the airport sees an average of 980 flights per day.
