6:31Now PlayingAs per breaking inputs coming in on Mirror Now, the chances of a power crisis lingers over twelve states in India. Amid this power crunch, the Power and renewable energy minister R. K Singh are set to hold a review meeting to aggregate power demand, and bulk auctions. The daily power demand is likely to rise more with increasing power availability in more and more states. Record-breaking power demand has already hit India. Reportedly, the power demand has increased by 14 per cent since April 2022, which now stands at 134 billion units. This is the highest consumption of power in a month. Also, according to the Power Ministry, the daily power demand is likely to increase reach up to 215-220 Giga Watts by May-June 2022.
