The airline says, that a supervised take-off and landing was conducted in August 2021 for which the pilots were certified by their previous employer. The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has slapped a penalty of Rs 10 lakh on Vistara for violating safety norms for passengers. Vistara has been fined by DGCA for violation of takeoff and landing clearance given to first officers without conducting any training.
