1:36Now PlayingThe central government informed the Kerala High Court on Thursday that K-full Rail's project study was unfinished. Despite requests to send over the DPR, it claims that many technical details of the ambitious silver line railway corridor are not included. The CPM-led government was also chastised by the central for conducting the survey and laying the stone without the knowledge or agreement of the railway ministry. Only an in-principle letter was given to develop a thorough DPR, according to the document. It went on to say that the state had failed to provide. The remarks follow a court order for the centre to clarify its position in the aftermath of a slew of lawsuits challenging the state's botched handling of the survey process.
