6:26Now PlayingAccording to economists and financial market analysts, the RBI may raise the policy repo rate by 40 basis points now and then by 35 bps in August, bringing it to the pre-pandemic level of 5.15 percent, considering the increasing inflationary pressures. The Monetary Policy Committee of the RBI is meeting from June 6-8. The repo rate is the interest rate at which the RBI lends banks short-term funds.
