The Bombay High Court bench of Justice Bharati Dangare declined to hear Maharashtra minister Nawab Malik's modified plea, which sought a police escort to take him to Vidhan Bhavan so he could vote in the Rajya Sabha elections. When Malik's lawyer Taraq Sayed mentioned the motion for an urgent hearing, the bench heard it and then rose and left without making any observations.
