The Shiv Sena leader, Anil Parab, was called by ED officials in the case on June 15, but he did not show up, claiming that he was out of station and traveling. Anil Parab journeyed to Shirdi and Nashik on June 15 and promised to appear whenever the agency demanded. The questioning is connected to a money laundering case brought against Anil Parab regarding the resort he constructed in Dapoli, Ratnagiri. Anil Parab's official and private residences in Mumbai, as well as homes owned by his close friends, were all searched by the ED on May 26.
