According to the sources, Mumbai local trains have been delayed amid the rains. An orange alert has been issued in Mumbai and the surrounding districts. Mumbai witnesses heavy traffic due to water logging in the subways. It's that time of the year when roads and streets of the state are flooded with rainwater. Those scenes are coming in from across the state. Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has also directed the administration of districts to be on alert as rivers in some coastal districts are likely to cross their danger mark due to heavy rainfall.
