Supreme Court says that the speaker must not decide disqualification of the Eknath Shinde faction MLAs. The court says, ‘it will decide on the issue. Please inform the speaker.’ It has also asked the Solicitor General, Tushar Mehta, to inform that the Maharashtra Assembly Speaker should not take any decision against the 16 MLAs till the plea is decided by the court. The Supreme Court also mentioned that the matter will require the constitution of a bench and require time to be listed.
