In Gujarat, the manufacturing, sale and consumption of liquor is banned by the state government. Nearly two dozen people have been hospitalised after their condition deteriorated following consumption of hooch, according to a report. Some of the critical patients were shifted to the government hospital in Botad, Ahmedabad and Bhavnagar. Six people have been shifted to Ahmedabad for further treatment, said Dr Sanket, Medical Officer Dhandhuka. Watch the news to know more update.
