The collision instantly killed the woman and severely damaged the other two vehicles. According to the police, Suyash Parasrampuria was speeding in front of Tivoli Court in a vehicle owned by his father's real estate company. Suyash has been detained by the police, who are also reviewing CCTV footage from the vicinity to preserve the timeline of events. Shashti Das, the victim, was employed as a domestic helper at a number of homes in the neighbourhood. She is from Picnic Garden. Her two daughters, ages 17 and 20, are still surviving. She had recently lost her husband.
