The number of stalking cases reported and related deaths have been rising constantly. Just over the last month, at least 3 cases of stalking brutality have been reported. We have literally hit rock bottom; victims have been attacked and murdered. This was despite multiple complaints registered with the police before the attack. The worst part is, that stalking as a concept is also not taken seriously unless it leads to violence. Cinema has definitely played a role in brainwashing most people into believing that stalking is a gesture of love and the ability to never give up is the eligibility criteria for it. There is a need to make laws more stringent and take this as a wake-up call. Watch this video for a harsh reality check of stalking the country
