BJP organized a Nabanna Abhiyan today. This is a bit of protest against the alleged corrupt practices of the TMC government. Section 144 is also imposed in Kolkata and 4000 police have been deployed to stop the protest.
Several levels of the barricades were installed to ensure no protestors can make it to the secretarial building. Water cannon, RAF, and police personnel were present in huge numbers.
We are joined by BJP West Bengal Chief, Dilip Gosh who shares his view on this. "We believe in protesting peacefully. Govt has blocked the complete city."
