A shop in Kollam was attacked by a group of Congress activists because it was collecting donations for the Bharat Jodo Yatra. The vegetable shop in Kunnikode owned by Anas was attacked by the Congress activists. After Anas refused to provide the amount requested by the party activists as a donation in connection with the Bharat Jodo Yatra, the local officials were outraged. Local shopkeepers in Kerala gave a donation of Rs 500, but Congress workers were unhappy and asked for at least Rs 200 as a donation. A Congress worker is seen hackling and harassing the vegetable vendors in the name of donations for the Bharat Jodo Yatra. This comes as the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) criticizes Congress's Bharat Jodo Yatra, claiming that it is Gunda Jodo Yatra.
