YouTube Description
as posted by the channelAs per the latest news, Chandigarh University has been shut for 6 days in light of the current situation. The hostel warden has been suspended. Chandigarh University has extended students' holidays from the 19th of September to the 24th. This is being seen as a move to calm the tempers of the students protesting the alleged MMS scandal that rocked the university and the city. The University turned into a fortress as heavy police forces were deployed on the campus after massive protests were held by the students over “rumors” that objectionable videos of several female hostellers were recorded by a hostel mate and made viral on the internet."We're going home now because we are not feeling safe here. For now we don't feel that we will get justice because they are not taking any steps against the accused. The students did not take back the protest and neither will they take it, today there will be a protest again.", says the hostel student.
