2:19Now PlayingOn Wednesday, Delhi's lieutenant governor VK Saxena allowed Chhath Puja at specific Yamuna ghats while advising Arvind Kejriwal to avoid "misleading and premature publicity." In response to Kejriwal's tweet in which he stated that Puja could be done anywhere on the Yamuna, the Lieutenant Governor issued the instructions. The L-G claimed that people were confused as a result of the Chief Minister's statement. While in Mumbai, there is a dispute between the BJP and NCP about who gets to perform Chhath Puja. NCP politician Rakhi Jadhav was denied permission by the BMC to organise the Puja at the ground in Ghatkopar East, while the Atal Samajik Sanstha was given permission to use the same spot. The local BJP karyakarta controls the Sanstha.
