4:09Now PlayingAccording to a press release, Agriculture Minister Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal suspended four agriculture officers for neglect of duty as per instructions from Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann. The government discovered that these cops were not following the rules, it continued. The change occurred at a time when stubble burning's contribution to Delhi's PM2.5 pollution increased to 26%, the highest percentage this year, and analysts warned that slow wind speeds and a rise in stubble burning, particularly in Punjab, might make things worse. The biggest number of farm fires in the state occurred on Sunday in Sangrur (323), followed by Patiala (249). According to data from the Punjab Remote Sensing Centre, there were 110 instances of stubble burning in Tarn Taran.
