4:53Now PlayingThe air quality in the national capital was recorded in the 'very poor category this morning. The overall AQI (Air quality Index) in Delhi crossed the 400 mark, according to the System of Air Quality and Weather Forecasting And Research (SAFAR).
As of 7 am on October 28, In Anand Vihar, the air quality was 'severe' with an AQI of 437, while the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium recorded a very poor air quality index of 328. Dwarka Sector 8 recorded an AQI of 339 in the very poor category and in ITO the air quality index was 347. The Delhi government has made 586 teams to fight against rising pollution. Construction work and factories are asked to stop until the air quality gets better.
